Mellow Mushroom is a lively restaurant located on Broad Street. Mellow is a favorite among locals in North Shore, South Side, Red Bank, and the surrounding areas. Inspired by Chattanooga history, the restaurant is filled with retro artwork and nods to the city’s past. Housed in a building that was once home to a Coca-Cola bottling plant, space is a piece of history itself. The outside of the building is adorned with stacked bottle-cap awnings that provide ample shade for the large patio. Inside, exposed ductwork lends an industrial feel to the restaurant, and bright pops of color accentuate the interesting architectural features of the historic building. Bold murals adorn the space, including an intricate painting featuring scenes and characters from Alice in Wonderland.
Dine with your furry friend on the dog-friendly patio.
