Learn more about barn owls, the ghosts of nature!
Have you ever wanted to know more about barn owls and what makes them so unique? Join Director of Avian Conservation, Taylor, and our newest Animal Ambassador, Winnie, to learn amazing facts about barn owls and what makes this animal so unique, elusive, and important to our ecosystem.
This program will occur Fridays and Saturdays at 1 PM. Parents and other adults supervising children must still hold a paid ticket for the program. For Winnie’s safety, dogs may not be present during this event.
If you haven't already signed it, please read and sign the general liability waiver before getting tickets. Each adult attendee must sign this waiver to participate. A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for each child participating. Please provide email addresses for each adult (and parent/legal guardian of children) during sign-up.
As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be canceled.
We are also a force-free facility, so if one of our animal ambassadors isn't interested in participating in a program, we'll respect that and offer our audience a great alternative. We appreciate your understanding if your program changes.
