The Season Shines Bright at Ruby Falls!

The holiday season is a time of joy, magic, and making memories with loved ones. At the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, we are thrilled to offer a brand-new holiday adventure: the Christmas Daylight Express! This one-hour, family-friendly experience is the perfect way to celebrate the season, combining the enchantment of a train ride with the excitement of meeting Santa Claus. Departing from Grand Junction station, this festive adventure is filled with fun activities and plenty of holiday cheer.

Once again ready to push the boundaries of their genre, Nashville based indie alt-rock band Moon Taxi is back with their sixth full length album, Set Yourself Free. With tracks ranging from rock to synth to pop to bluegrass, the new lineup showcases what 15 years as a band gets you: a polished, classic sound without fear of exploration. The five-member group- vocalist/guitarist Trevor Terndrup, lead guitarist Spencer Thomson, bassist Tommy Putnam, keyboardist Wes Bailey, and drummer Tyler Ritter- stepped back into their roots to create an album primarily written and recorded by themselves and set for release on their own label, 12th South Records.

From November 9 to December 31, indulge in a delightful selection of delectable teas and a full high tea fare, featuring savory bites, sweet treats, and our favorite – freshly baked scones! For those looking to enhance their experience, choose the option to add a train ride on the Missionary Ridge Local. Each tea seating lasts 75 minutes, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and soak in the festive holiday atmosphere.
