On Saturday, July 27, the Museum will kick off a week-long celebration of summer games and activities with a Parade of Nations down Chestnut Street at 11 a.m., featuring local community partners.
Guests will "light" a large torch with their own torch creations, then head into the Museum to enjoy a variety of games and activities. Highlights include a gymnastics demonstration and a photo opportunity with a three-tiered podium!
The celebration continues throughout the week with partners showcasing unique sports and activities, including volleyball, track & field, kayaking, and a visit from the Special Olympics. Come on out and experience all the fun that comes with competition and sportsmanship.
